Village Hall
Information about the village hall
The large 150 sq metre hall can accommodate functions of over 100 people but can be divided into two with a separate smaller 50 sq metre “meeting room” and a 100 sq metre larger hall. It has independent sets of lighting with a choice of fluorescent and/or spot lights. There is a fully equipped new kitchen with double-oven cooker, microwave, fridge & kettles or water heater. It has ample crockery, glasses, trays and a full range of cooking utensils. There is a serving hatch to the main hall. We also now have Internet.
The hall has regular activities. Details of all activities, including all our weekly & monthly events which can be found in News and Views Parish Magazine. Or on our FaceBook page South Otterington, Maunby, Kirby Wiske and Newby Wiske community page. The hall is available for meetings, Table Tennis and Table Tennis Coaching, social events, Wedding receptions, Special Birthdays the Charges & Diary Page.The hall is a registered charity run by a small but willing group of volunteers.
